What to check before applying

• Read whether the selection is open externally or limited to existing civil servants. Check the exact education, experience, language and other conditions stated in the notice.
• Use the correct portal form and required attachments. The CISŠS manual distinguishes applying to selection procedures from the later request for admission to a civil-service post; do not confuse those stages.
• Keep the reference and submission record, and monitor the service office’s notices. Universities, hospitals and other public employers may recruit outside the civil-service portal.
